ABOUT ME
My name is Marta Serra Almoyner. I have always been interested in caring for others, perhaps as a longing to care for those parts of myself that I have felt neglected at some point in my life. From a very young age I had contact with ancestral medicines and that is how I connected with a deep connection with Nature. From then on I knew that no matter what I did in life, I would dedicate myself to something that would allow me to feel in constant relationship with the nature and consciousness of Being. It was during this transformation and inner journeys when singing and voice came to fetch me. I studied to be a social educator with the interest of being able to accompany others

people in their difficult life processes, in search of learning and personal growth. I trained as a masseur in different schools and in India according to Ayurvedic medicine, and music was coming in as a tool to find myself in my life process. I trained in Vocal Expression with Selina Worsley ( Stupendams ), and studied Hindustani classical music for six years. From then on I started accompanying other musicians and collaborating on music projects. I graduated in Sound Therapy and Modified States of Consciousness at the Sound & Trance Institute ( www.soundtrance.com ) and worked as an assistant therapist in workshops and courses in Receptive Music Therapy, Sound Therapy and Gong Ritual for several years. I have been practicing yoga since I was 20 years old.
Today I offer group and personalized vocal work workshops (EEIV) and apply music in body therapy and massage sessions. I teach Nothing Yoga (sound yoga) classes. I am part of the musical group Lilàh which is dedicated to the sound and polyphonic research of ancestral music. I combine my work with other personal projects related to nature and plants.
